Macquarie Investment Management has appointed four senior executives in an attempt to strengthen its distribution in Europe. Jerry Devlin, formerly head of UK mutual fund sales at Barings, has been named head of UK financial institutions. Richard Guerin, previously a director in global consultant relations at Blackrock Investment Management, has been appointed head of European consultant relations. Xavier Michel was named manager of pooled funds, and will have responsibility for Macquarie Fund Solutions. He previously worked at HARDT Group, and will be based in Vienna. Kate Giblin was appointed as a manager in sales and marketing support. She previously worked at Delaware Investments in Philadelphia.
