Macquarie group Savoret resigns as Emea head

Benoit Savoret has resigned as chief executive of Macquarie's European business and head of its European securities business, after exactly a month in the job, Macquarie said in a statement Thursday.

Savoret, formerly one of the most senior managers at Lehman Brothers before its bankruptcy, has resigned effective immediately, Macquarie said. He joined Macquarie's London office on March 1.
