Roisin Magee, former head of European equities at Insight Investments, the asset management arm of HBOS, has joined TRW Investment Management, the in-house asset management arm of the UK's TRW pension fund, as managing director responsible for investments.

Magee, who left Insight last spring, was also responsible for the company's pooled funds. Magee is replacing William MacDougall, who was made redundant in February as part of a reorganisation in the aftermath of TRW's takeover last year by Northrop Grumman, the US defense technology group.
