Man Group lifts assets by 8% in three months

Man Group, the UK-listed firm, has increased its assets under management to $54bn (€42bn) at the end of June, a rise of 8.2% in three months that confirms its standing as world's largest hedge fund firm.

Harvey McGrath, chairman of Man Group, said in advance of today's annual general meeting: "Demand for our fund products has been very strong, both from private investors and institutions."
