Man Group net inflows totalled $1bn in first quarter

Man Group, one of the world's largest hedge fund firms, has seen net inflows of $1bn (€870m) from investors in the first quarter of 2003, despite the industry as a whole suffering a net outflow of funds over the same period.

Sources say institutional sales at the group were particularly healthy with many institutions increasing their allocations to its hedge fund sector.
