Man Group reports record inflows as profits spike

Performance fees help the manager cash in on market momentum

Man Group, the world’s largest publicly traded hedge fund, saw inflows jump by more than 800% amid the market volatility of the past year.

Assets under management increased to $148.6bn from $123.6bn with record inflows 883% higher for the year to 31 December 2021, the firm said in its annual report released on 1 March.
