Japan outflows fail to dent Man Group in first half

UK-listed manager's assets, revenues and profits all rise despite surprise outflows from top-performing Japan fund

Surprise outflows from a top-performing Japan fund were not enough to deny UK-listed hedge fund manager Man Group a strong first half in 2015.

Man Group on July 29 reported pre-tax profits of $163 million for the six months to June 30, compared with $106 million a year earlier. Revenues rose to $625 million from $500 million.
