Man strategy in question as investors await results

Man Group's results for the half year to September are due out on Thursday and followers of the wealth management firm are likely be looking closely at the strategy statement accompanying the results.

The results are likely to be broadly flat, against an estimated £53m for Man's fund management activities last time, prior to the demerge of its commodity business. At the end of August, Man chairman Harvey McGrath said: 'While recurring management fee income in the first half is expected to show an improvement, performance related income is likely to be modest.'
