Juha Karttunen has left his job as chief executive of Mandatum, the corporate finance division of Sampo Group, the Finnish bank.

The move comes as Sampo grapples with several other recent senior departures. Sten Eklundh, executive vice-president and director of Sampo's investment banking business, has also left in the past two weeks, as has Jaakko Niemelä, managing director of Mandatum Stockbrokers.
