Manny Roman leaving Man Group to lead Pimco

Roman will leave at the end of August to become chief executive of the US investment manager

Manny Roman is stepping down from hedge fund giant Man Group to become CEO of Pimco.

Roman will take up the lead role at Pimco in November, after stepping back from Man Group at the end of August. He will be replaced by Luke Ellis, president at Man.
