The City’s set-piece dinner of top executives and policymakers remains in flux amid confusion over whether it would still run just a week after the general election.

The Mansion House dinner is a staple of the Square Mile’s calendar. Named after the opulent building in which it takes place, the dinner is traditionally attended by political leaders, financial services executives, and heads of City regulators such as the Financial Conduct Authority and Bank of England.
