Mark Barnes, global head of macro client trading and FX options at Royal Bank of Scotland – and a former FN Rising Star – has left the bank.

An RBS spokeswoman confirmed Barnes' departure. He had worked at RBS since 2002, when he joined from Merrill Lynch.
