Florman steps back from BVCA

The chief executive of the UK private equity trade body will step down in May after two years, moving to the newly-created role of special adviser

Mark Florman has resigned as the chief executive of UK trade body the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association after just two years in the role.

Speaking today, Florman said that he felt his goal of restructuring the organisation along more professional lines was complete and he now wished to spend more time working on economic and social policy.
