Edinburgh-based fund manager Martin Currie has appointed Barry Sagraves as a board director following the departure of James Dawnay.

Sagraves joined Martin Currie earlier this year as director of corporate strategy and was previously director of corporate development at John Nuveen & Co in Chicago. Dawnay resigned last week to pursue other opportunities.
