Deloitte & Touche, the administrator of Mayflower, is set to confirm that it has received several bids for TransBus, one of the insolvent UK transport group's prime assets, a day after Japanese banking group Mizuho bought Mayflower's energy business.

TransBus, Mayflower's coach manufacturing unit, had attracted interest from private equity firms as well as a consortium of Scottish investors, co-ordinated by Noble & Company, a UK investment bank.
