Colin McLatchie has been appointed as managing director of Aegon Asset Management following the retirement of current managing director Russell Hogan.

McLatchie has served as chief operating officer at Aegon since January 1999. He began his fund management career at Wells Fargo Nikko, and subsequently managed PanAgora Asset Management's European business.
