Salomon Smith Barney has lured back a second telecommunications banker from the private equity firm Carlyle Partners.

Eric Meadow is rejoining Salomon as co-head of telecoms mergers and acquisitions with Stephen Loebs in New York after two years with Carlyle, where he was a managing director in the telecoms group. He will be focusing on the US market.
