Mediobanca is ‘scouting’ for more acquisitions after Arma Partner deal

The Italian lender is looking to bolster its advisory functions as some rivals scale back

Italian lender Mediobanca said it is on the lookout for more acquisitions, less than a week after unveiling a tie-up with technology boutique Arma Partners in a deal that is expected to boost its dealmaking fees by 30%.

In a strategic update on 24 May, Mediobanca said that it was "scouting" for new acquisitions to fuel growth.
