Morgan Stanley has reorganised its equity research team, by appointing a new group of sector heads and has promoted a number of analysts including Mary Meeker.

Meeker, who shot to fame as Wall Street's star internet analyst in the late 1990s boom, is to co-head a new technology research group alongside Angela Dean. Duncan Moore, an analyst specialising in European pharmaceuticals, gets a promotion to head the firm's new healthcare research group.
