Stephen Dover, successor to renowned emerging markets investor Mark Mobius at Franklin Templeton Investments, has himself almost 20 years' experience investing in the developing world.

Dover joined Franklin Templeton in 1997 as chief investment officer for Bradesco Templeton Asset Management, which had just been founded as a joint venture between Franklin Templeton and the Brazilian bank Bradesco.
