There are two noticeable trends in this year’s Rising Stars of Fund Management. The first is that the gender scales have tipped very firmly in favour of women — there are just six men on this year’s list, whereas in previous years it has often been the other way around.
The second is that this year’s rising stars are younger on average — there are six under the age of 30, instead of just one or two.
