Citigroup's appointment this week of a top former Deutsche Bank executive to a new advisory board has bulked out a team that the US bank hopes can help steer clients through the UK's departure from the European Union.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Citi has hired Karl-Georg Altenburg, who was most recently Deutsche Bank's co-head of corporate finance for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, to sit on the new advisory board.
