Planning is underway for another towering development in the City of London – this time a 305-metre tall building that will include a classroom offering 20,000 free places to school children.

J Safra Group, a conglomerate with headquarters in Brazil, has logged a planning application with the City of London Corporation for a new tower it says would be known as The Tulip, named after the shape of the top of the building. The structure would be the tallest in the Square Mile.
