Bill Muysken, senior consultant at Mercer Investment Consulting, is quitting to join hedge fund group Thames River Capital as a portfolio manager on its multi-manager team.

Muysken will leaver Mercer in February. During his 14 years at the firm he has played an important role in building up its global manager research team. Last year, he led the establishment of a team researching alternative investments. This role will be absorbed by Andy Barber, global head of manager research.
