Mercer Human Resource Consulting, the consultancy owned by US insurer Marsh & McLennan, has appointed Jos Berkemeijer as the new chairman of its Netherlands business to replace Frank Verschuren.

Verschuren left in November after 25 years with the consultancy. He will set up his own actuarial consultancy business concerning policy and management issues.
