Mercer is set to become the latest firm to launch an investment platform that gives pension funds and other investors access to fund managers at a low cost.
The consultancy told a small group of its investors about its plans for its first investment management platform this week. It follows a similar launch announced by rival Willis Towers Watson in February, which created a platform aimed at giving investors cheaper and easier access to hedge funds.
