Mergermarket.com, the mergers and acquisition tracking website, has appointed David Smith as a non-executive director to advise on corporate strategy and development.

Smith joins the firm from Thomson Financial where he was director of business development for the last three years covering corporate strategy development, acquisitions and new product development.
