Merrill Lynch has recruited Ansgar Zwick as managing director and head of its financial institutions group in Germany.

Zwick was previously head of German and cross-border M&A in the financial institutions group at JP Morgan. Prior to that he worked at consultants McKinsey in New York and Frankfurt.
