Merrill Lynch boosts German leveraged finance operations

Merrill Lynch has hired two bankers to its German leveraged finance operations, bringing the number of people in the team to three.

Dietmar Westermann joins the bank as a director. He previously worked at Bank of Scotland, where he was founding co-head of the Frankfurt office. He was also a regional director of corporate banking in Europe and was involved in the creation of Bank of Scotland's Amsterdam office.
