Merrill Lynch has made its sixth senior appointment for its Frankfurt office in less than three months, after recruiting a Citigroup banker to run its German and Austrian equity underwriting business.

Stefan Albrecht, head of Citigroup's German equity capital markets business, has joined Merrill Lynch as a director and head of German and Austrian equity underwriting.
