Merrill Lynch has appointed Constantine Gonticas to focus on its M&A activities in emerging Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He joins the US investment bank as a director after 12 years at Credit Suisse First Boston where most recently he centred on Central and Eastern European M&A coverage.
