Merrill sued for discrimination

Merrill Lynch, the only bulge bracket investment bank with an African American as president, is being sued for alleged racial discrimination and unfair dismissal for the second time this year.

Farhoud Moaddel, a London-based banker who ran supporting finance and operations for part of Merrill's debt business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is set to square up to the US firm at a tribunal scheduled for the next quarter.
