Merrill's M&A chief resigns

Jack Levy, who helped build Merrill Lynch's mergers advisory business, has resigned after 22 years at the firm.

For the past 10 years Levy has been the global head of mergers and acquisitions, and last year he saw Merrill advise on $1.1 trillion of US transactions.
