Amadeus Capital Partners, the UK venture capital house, has hired Roy Merritt as a director ahead of the formal launch of its third fund.

Merritt has spent the last year working part-time in Amadeus' London office but has known Anne Glover and Richard Anton, two of Amadeus' founding directors, since the early nineties when they all worked in the technology investment team at Apax Partners.
