London-based Metric Capital Partners, a special situations fund founded by executives from TowerBrook and Terra Firma, is nearing a first close on its latest fund.

The firm - which is aiming to collect €800 million for its third fund - opened its data room this week, allowing investors to access information about the new vehicle, according to a person familiar with the matter.
