M&G Prudential, the European insurance and fund-management business being spun out of Prudential, has named the former chair of retail funds giant Hargreaves Lansdown as its new chair.

Mike Evans, who chaired Hargreaves’ board for eight years between 2009 and February this year, joins M&G Prudential with immediate effect, the company said in a statement on October 1. He is currently the chair of takeaway food retailer Just Eat.
