Managers of the UK’s largest commercial property funds have moved to reassure investors that they have enough cash to meet withdrawal requests amid fears of a fresh run on the sector.

Aberdeen Standard Investments, Aviva Investors, Janus Henderson Investors and Legal & General Investment Management all put out statements stressing their funds’ large cash buffers after M&G Investments gated its flagship property fund on December 4.
