BofA Merrill global securities co-head going to UBS

Mike Stewart is leaving two months after BofA Merrill said it hired a new co-head for the business

Bank of America Merrill Lynch senior global equities executive Mike Stewart is leaving the bank, two months after it said a new co-head in the position would join the firm this summer, according to people familiar with the matter.

Stewart, who was the New York-based co-head of Merrill Lynch's global equities business before Bank of America acquired the firm, is going to UBS later this year, the people said.
