MilleniumAssociates, the specialist wealth management corporate finance advisory boutique, has hired Ian Cormack to its global advisory board to help boost its financial services expertise.

Cormack set up Cormack Tansey Partners, a firm advising financial institutions on growth strategies and execution, two years ago. He was previously chief executive of AIG's European insurance, financial services and asset management business for two years. Prior to that he spent 30 years at Citibank and Citigroup, and he was involved in the integration of Salomon Smith Barney into Citigroup. He has also held posts as chairman of Chaps, the clearing group, and a member of the board of Clearstream.
