Miller retires from SSSB after 34 years

Edward Miller, co-chief executive of Schroder Salomon Smith Barney (SSSB), and vice chairman of the corporate and investment bank, is retiring after 34 years at the firm.

Miller joined the investment banking division of Smith Barney in 1968. In 1976 he was promoted to managing director and transferred from New York to Paris to head the firm's European operations.
