Unit-linked managed funds have again prevailed over with-profits funds in Bacon & Woodrow's annual survey of additional voluntary contribution (AVC) provision.

Skandia Life was the best unit-linked performer over both five and 10 years with returns of 17% and 14.9%, compared with the average returns of 13.6% per year and 12.8% per year respectively.
