MLIM loses out in £1.5bn UK fund shakeup

UBS Global Asset Management and Capital International have picked up global equity mandates from the £1.5bn (€2.4bn) British Airport Authority pension fund.

Merrill Lynch Investment Management (MLIM) was dropped from its £400m UK equity mandate, as the fund wanted to cut its UK exposure in favour of global equities. UBS Asset Management and Capital each secured £200m.
