Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) has started to recruit fund managers in an attempt to fill the void left by a number of recent high-profile departures.

Christopher Wyllie has been hired as a fund manager in MLIM's UK core equity team. He was previously head of the UK equity strategy team at Schroders and one of seven members of the firm's portfolio construction team.
