Montagu Private Equity is set to acquire vehicle valuation firm CAP from Top Right Group, the media company formerly known as Emap International, as its owners, buyout firm Apax Partners and Guardian Media Group, look to divest assets from the media firm, which has struggled to meet its huge debt repayments.

CAP, a provider of vehicle valuation data to the automotive industry, is part of Top Right Group, which until March this year was known as Emap International.
