Tom Blomfield is scaling up. His pottery, that is.

The chief executive of Monzo, the fast-growing challenger bank, only took up the hobby in February this year, but has thrown so many plates and vases over the past six months that he plans to start giving them away for Christmas. He says he finds it meditative, though he admits that is a little clichéd.
