Moody's cuts Anglo outlook after wait on Tarmac

Anglo American has been given a negative outlook by credit ratings agency Moody’s Investors Service after the metals and mining company said it was delaying the sale of its UK roadbuilding business Tarmac.

Moody’s said it was changing the outlook on Anglo American debt from stable to negative as the postponement of the Tarmac sale would lead to a “marked increase” in the company’s indebtedness.
