Profits rise at Moore Capital in Europe

The London arm of Louis Bacon's hedge fund firm Moore Capital delivered a near 50% rise in profits last year, according to results just published at Companies House

Profits at the London arm of Louis Bacon's hedge fund firm Moore Capital rose by almost half last year, according to results just published at Companies House.

Members of the partnership at Moore Europe Capital Management LLP had 2011 profits of £31.7m available for discretionary division. This represents a 45% increase on the £21.8m in profits that the business made in 2010, according to the results. Revenues fell from £117.2m in 2010 to £76.7m last year.
