Morgan Stanley and Robey Warshaw lead Vodafone’s Indian merger

Telecoms group Vodafone has turned to Morgan Stanley and advisory boutique Robey Warshaw to lead its latest deal, a tie-up between its Indian subsidiary and a domestic rival.

The two advisory houses were named as lead financial advisers to Vodafone and its Indian subsidiary in a March 20 statement from the UK group confirming that Vodafone India will merge with Idea, a listed telecoms company. The deal is valued at $14.3 billion by Dealogic.
