Morgan Stanley appoints Adams to head healthcare

Morgan Stanley has bolstered its US investment banking team with the appointment of Paul Adams, formerly of Citigroup, as managing director and head of its healthcare services team.

Morgan Stanley made $31.3m (€25.3m) in advisory fees from the top five M&A sectors in the first half of this year, according to Dealogic. This was driven in no small part by consolidation and merger activity in the healthcare sector.
