The head of futures sales for Asia Pacific at Morgan Stanley is set to leave the bank, following a round of cuts to its institutional securities trading operations.
Rick Aston, who was responsible for listed derivatives sales in the region, with a focus on Singapore and Australia, is set to leave the bank after his role was phased out, according to two people familiar with the matter. Based in Singapore, Aston joined the bank in July 2011. Morgan Stanley declined to comment.
